The Dual Fuel Capable BIO BIKE!! Finally Launched!

We are delighted to bring this latest in a long line of innovation, from TigerToothBikes.com

Our Bikes are already very environmentally friendly, as their fuel economy runs into the hundred plus miles to the gallon. But thats not good enough for us. Any petrol burned is damaging the environment, and aside from fuelling your transport, it is currently fuelling war. Refuse to line Mr Browns bulging pockets and ride to work on one of our Bio Bikes
.

Methanol delivers excellent performance and when mixed with peanut oil is a perfect fuel for these 2 stroke engines. What is more, these bikes run almost smoke free with a smell similar to that of stir-fry!

Prices Start from £379 for a fully fitted Bio Bike so visit www.TigerToothBikes.com or our eBay Shop

Fair Treatment - Make Motorised Bikes Legal For all!

Please click here to sign our petition for equal treatment in the law for motorised bikes. We feel that so long as the bikes conform to similar standards as electric bikes then they should be exempted from Tax/Insurance/MOT etc. We believe the current law is discriminatory and unfair on owners who just want a helping hand up a hill!
Petition expires January 2009 so hurry!!

TigerToothBikes Goes Green!

It gives us immense pleasure to announce the successful testing of a completely green TigerTooth Bike.
Over the past few months, we have been busy designing, developing and finally this week successfully testing a TigerTooth Bike that runs on Bio-Fuel. The aim, a completely green 2 stroke engine.

This has been achieved using ALOT of engineering and research, the result is a modified engine that runs on a blend of methanol and peanut oil. Aside from a pleasant smell similar to stir fry, this engine emits no hydro carbons or polluting particles into the atmosphere and develops the same performance as a normal petrol engine. It also returns the same fantastic mileage as all our petrol bikes, so whilst the bio-fuel may cost slightly more (approx 12p a litre) than petrol when weighed against the environmental savings and the comparative cost of running a car, it still delivers fantastic value.

We intend to launch into full scale production once final tests are concluded and shall be offering our customers the choice to go green at NO extra cost. We are also negotiating with two fuel companies a contract whereby through us, they shall supply those customers with the required fuel at a competitive price.

Our Latest Build: The Jungle Cat

Behold! The Jungle Cat - TigerTooths Latest creation. We have included a shot from the front to demonstrate how thin and well fitted these engines are.

Here's to yet another happy rider

The Four Stroke Bicycle

Here she is. One of our 4 stroke creations (one of our staff members bikes as a donor). After doing so many 2 strokes for so long it has been a wonderful challenge to get back into a 4 stroke engine kit.
Initial feedback from customers is there is better torque and power plus the centrifugal clutch makes operation a dream. The only downer we can see is this engine cannot be started whilst in motion and one has to stop to pull start. But we are told this is no real inconvenience.
We are looking to introduce these engines, fully fitted, to our range in the near future so watch this space.
Please note we do stock these kits at £249.
Selected bikes have also dropped in price so be sure to check out all our models.

Our Latest Build: The Forest Cat.

Here is TigerTooths latest creation just before being packed to be shipped.
On average, we like to spend a few days (48-72hrs) testing the build, as this lets the engine settle in and allows us to adjust the fittings to ensure our customers have to do as little as possible upon receipt.
We do advise however, to give your new Tiger Tooth a thorough inspection before hopping on and having a go as transit can knock wires etc.

Here's to another satisfied TigerTooth Customer!

We at www.TigerToothBikes.com are all about Fun. To that end we are asking all our readers if they know of a good place where we motored bikers can legally hold a quarterly race. We envisage a system whereby all racing members pay an entry fee, that money is then pooled with a percentage going to charity and the rest to the winning positions! please contact racing@tigertoothbikes.com

Advertising on Facebook

In the spirit of advertising and having a facebook account, i have decided to give them a shot at the old CPC ads. After one day and something like 20,000 impressions we have had 4 clicks! pretty disappointing, and expensive.
Google AdWords has been far more impressive with 18,000 impression to 18 clicks, so a better CTR there. Will have to do some more word of mouth...

TigerToothBikes.com

Unfortunately, a couple of months back, i awoke from a friends birthday bash, in my car.
The night before i had somehow hit my head hard enough to fracture my skull and cause two haemorrhages. Of course the arresting officer and myself were unaware of this at the time...
I was charged with "in charge-excess alcohol" and subsequently found guilty at trial as i did not have a neurosurgeon present to confirm the brain surgery i had had to undergo.
The loss of my drivers license for 12 months has been a massive blow, not to mention the feelings of injustice when i watch traffic cops and see idiots nearly kill people when drunk driving and get off with 3 months community service!
These events however have had an unexpected benefit.
After cycling to work for a couple of months, i grew tired of the huge hill on the way home, and dreamed of fitting an engine to my bike. So i did some research and found out so long as it was under 50cc and my bicycle could still be pedal powered, i would not need an MOT, insurance, tax or a license!
This had my (rather bruised) brain buzzing...with the current cost of running a car this was becoming a very attractive idea for commuting, especially as these engines boast 220mpg with top speeds of 30-40 mph!
After deciding to take the plunge and overcoming alot of import difficulties, i purchased a very expensive (£250) 4 stroke engine kit and i am back on the road, but thats not all. I thought of others who may be in my situation, or couldn't afford a car or just wanted to go "green".
With the help of some enthusiasts at www.motoredbikes.com in the U.S.A i have been able to build some fantastic machines and have had ALOT of fun riding them. After a few pals asked me how i got them i realised perhaps there really was a market for these bikes.
This was the birth of www.tigertoothbikes.com

Since then we have been steadily growing, especially as in the UK nearly everybody is looking to cut their oil consumption and our bikes have given a fun and affordable way to do it!

So far the feedback we have recieved has been really helpful and we're always thirsty for more.

Thanks alot to all those kind contributors. We would very much like to hear from you if you've had a similar experience or would like to know more.

Until my next post

All The Best

Mike Jones
